• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

welcome and :congrats: on your new Spyder.

The Hindle is a great upgrade. There are many other aftermarket exhausts available as well, but I really like the fact the Hindle looks like it is factory and not aftermarket.

Enjoy your new Spyder and ryde safe.

I drilled out the rivets for the heat shield painted it then used a little bigger rivets to install the ends i tapped off but then realized i liked it and painted the whole muffler gloss black just make sure it's high heat paint. welcome:congrats: oh i forgot i masked over the Hindle emblem on the muffler.

:congrats: and welcome

I love my Hindle exhaust. Mine has been painted. I masked it off very well and painted it with high-heat paint. No problems in over 10K miles.

Happy Spydering!!

Hindle is great! Love mine...I wouldn't mess with the rivets though...could be opening up a can of worms...I see someone here did, but there goes any warranty on the product if you mess with it...

I have a pearl white spyder too, and I was thinking about getting some of that super high heat spray can (like at home depot) to paint my hindle. It wont be pearl, but it will be white.

Just my $.02... For years I know of a body shop that has painted nearly every engine part on all the rides he tricks out for car shows. Try a local shop that is into customizing cars for fun and I bet they have the paint to match, with no bad flaking or discoloration :2thumbs:welcome:ohyea:
