First impressions of the new Gustafsson windscreen for the Can Am F3 and F3s models.
1. No need to have existing Blue Ridge hardware! The new mount brackets available are low and unobtrusive. No staring through mounting hardware. Maintains more of a factory look.
2. Testing the 17" tinted model. Looks great with slight curves and no distortion. I am 5'10" with a 31"-32" inseam and I look over the top of the screen. Was able to travel at Interstate speeds with my helmet visor open and didn't feel any buffeting.
3. Airflow. This is a tough one as different riders have different perspectives on what is comfortable air flow. Some like the gage spoiler. Personally Sitting upright for 400 - 500 miles with little to no air protection is no fun and more like work. Others want full out wind block. Again personal choice but I want to experience the wind just not be beat up by it. This screen fits the bill. The right size and shape to eliminate the buffeting but not so much as to disconnect you from the environment. Good airflow across my body (necessary in hot/humid Florida) but not so much as to be uncomfortable.
4. As soon as work stops intruding and I get more seat time I will share more impressions. www.bikescreen.com
