Went in to have recall bracket fitted to frame and found the frame had cracked ,maybe all other F3owners should check as the recall bracket is a coverup baby BHP....?....?.For what reason? Cracks? Bent? Made wrong? Thanks.
I When I first heard about the FRAME PIECE - BRP was giving out to brace the OEM Frame .... I had a BAD feeling about where this could be going ..............Thanks for the Heads -up and I agree ALL owners should " white glove " their Frames ...............Mike :thumbup:Went in to have recall bracket fitted to frame and found the frame had cracked ,maybe all other F3owners should check as the recall bracket is a coverup baby BHP....?....?.

Under where the makeshift bracket goes .all you have to do is remove the seat and bracket if it has been fitted ,crack along the weldWhere is the frame cracked, so everyone knows where to look.
The frame cracks under the seat where the recall cover goes ,this is also caused by the weak rear shock allowing the bike to bottom out . To fix the problem the frame had to be replaced and I also had a Elka Shock fitted . BRP covered the frame under warranty but I had to pay for the shock replacement.Where is the frame cracked, so everyone knows where to look.

Replacing frame after only 6500klm,
Well IMHO this is good and bad ....... The Spyder owner will have to wait until the frame FAILS to get it re-placed ( am I correct ) ...... that might be reasonably OK if you are HOME. But what if you are on a trip somewhere..... if the frame FAILS - how long is that going to take to re-place .... Even if it's done under Emergency EXPEDITED circumstances one week or longer ...... Good luck to ALL who own an F-3 ...... Mike :thumbup:The recall on the 2015 frame also extended the frame warranty to lifetime. If the problem ever comes up, BRP will warranty it, no matter the age or miles on the bike.

Dear Capt. Bob.....since you are a Newbie ....let me assist you on some English language usage ......" Shouting " is using all CAPITAL LETTERS .... I used some for the purpose of emphasis but otherwise I used # 3 print...... So I shouldn't wish people Good Luck ??? ... from the tone of your post to me I can understand how that might be a strange concept to You :lecturef_smilie:.......And I end 99% of All my posts with the  .... it's what I do.... Oh ! and Please put me on me Your IGNORE LIST so you aren't tempted to make any more ......" STUPID PERSONAL ATTACK COMMENTS " sincerely .. Mike :thumbup:Mike, In my Internet experiences, when someone uses the letters "IMHO", it suggests that the opinion about to be offered is one that contains some humbleness. I can't figure how your "Good luck..." phrase with included shouting and a thumbs up is anything but significantly lacking in humbleness. Whatever you ride, and I mean WHATEVER YOU RIDE (shouting intentional), if it experiences a significant breakdown far from home, I don't think any reasonable person would expect to get significant problems dealt with expeditiously in most circumstances. So what is your point? Are you feeling superior because there is a known fault in someone's bike? Any piece of machinery can fail at any time. At least BRP is standing behind a known low frequency deficiency. If it were more serious, I would suspect that it would move to a recall status which it has not. I am also pretty sure that our governmental agencies responsible for product safety are in the loop. Anyway, thanks for your opinion because it allowed me a framework (pun intended) to help quell panic in the streets. :roflblack:
