• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anybody using an aluminum frame enclosed trailer to tow their Spyder?

I have a 2024 Sea to Sky. I'd like to buy a new trailer to haul my Spyder cross country when I visit my relatives. I have a lot of relatives on the Eastern Seaboard from Maine to Florida so I need a durable 6x12, 7x12 or 7x14. Just wondering if anyone has a quality aluminum frame enclosed trailer that they would recommend. If not, what's a high quality enclosed trailer that you would recommend? Is tandem wheels a better option or does it matter?

High quality…..perfect for the RT…custom built for your Spyder.

Any specifics you can give us on yours? Model, accessories, etc?

Interesting trailer, at 3500 GVWR rating does it come standard with brakes. Picture show brake drums, however I did not see them in the specs or write up. Many states require brake on trailers 3000 or over GVWR.

The Wide Body in the link is the one we have. Have plenty of room to get around the bike to attend to tie downs. Have Electric brakes with break-away system. They will pretty much make the thing anyway you need. I gave them the specs on the Spyder, width, wheel base, total length tip to tip etc, and it all fit right in.
