New England Can am dealers just don't seem to want to sell this product :(

I've been trying so hard to get some kind of a deal, not much, but something around here before I venture to another state to buy my Base RT. I called 4 dealers and I had to call every one of them back because they failed to call me back as promised. Not one of them would deal below the MSRP or 24,499. not one!!!

And when I spoke to them about dealers in other states such as NY Illinois, and even Missouri. and they all came in as low as 21,500 to 22,400, So what gives? if it was snowing out would they drop the prices for a sled? I'm thinking its just not much of a market up here...

Very frustratinig. As they also are pushing the hell out of the 13's and I get it. they still are wonderful machines, and I know not to lock into everyones opinion about the heat issues and such with this year. I mean I've been riding for 40+ years and sitting ontop of a motor.... your gonna feel some heat "lol".

If you have any dealers with in 6hrs from Maine, I will travel to purchase, so let me know please and what is more troubeling is I'm not kicking tires, I'm ready to sign!!!!!!

:agree: Mine came out of Freedom Cycle, but I also hear good things about HK Powersports and no sales tax in NH

When I bought my first Spyder, we went a fair distance to buy it. Found a nice hotel, and picked up the bike. We spent a day driving around the area, getting used to the new Spyder (it really was then), and left the next day.

By the time we got home, the bike was broken in (properly), and I was completely familiar with the bike. I recommend this - it costs about $1,000 to ship a Spyder (done that too), and the $1,000 would finance a nice trip - I would call the guys at Pit Bull, and ride your choice home. You buy a bike to ride, right??

Sorry, I actually do like the service department there... they were,,,, and I stress were my dealer... Until Dennis I think his name is. Said if you don't like paying The MSRP of 24,499 that's the way it is. I'm not coming down and I'm not taking off the Dealer prep charge. If you can get a better deal in another state, then do it. Yep, that was yesterday's answer... Now I must say that my sales guy was awesome and I felt bad for him.

And HK hasn't called me back since Monday

BOB, I have been speaking at length with Mike about where he bought his. Its Haulhouzer (sp) in Illinois. Daryl is his guy. Mike has a great story on his purchase... I actually want to do this, it's just a timing thing with vacation and stuff. Plus I'm meeting up with Mike and Dee to ride to SpyderQuest together, I, MUST, HAVE, NEW, SPYDER, BEFOR, SEPTEMBER

is sometimes the best. When I lived in Stamford Samford Motorsports was a great place. Been gone a while now so can't say anymore. But checking out of state makes sense. We have seen many here shop this way and fly, walk, ride to wherever to get that deal. Good luck the deal and dealers are out there..!! :thumbup:
