• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I hear on a windy day you can still smell the Hippies-----:roflblack:

If I may ask, what's the $$$? I'm sure my butt would pay anything but my heads in charge of the bank acct.

Today is the first time I rode 70 miles in one go. I know, not much compared to some of you. I'm still a newbie getting the hang of things. This was my longest ride yet!!!!

Anyway the last few miles was not so kind to my butt. I had to put all my weight on the pegs a few times to ease the pressure. I'm beginning to see why those of you who really pour on the miles don't like the stock seat. Up till today I raved about the stock seat. Now, not so much!

Do like I did, chop out the driver area part of the seat right to the pan. Recover the seat leaving the new attractive gaping hole in it. Place 1/4 inch of memory foam in the recovered seat, and put an airhawk roho cushion in the hole on top of the memory foam.. You will sit about an inch lower and have a happier butt all for the bargain price of about 150-200 bucks...

Depending on the verdick on the BRP comfort seat, I was thinking more along the lines of Spencer Seat modifications.

Anyone here have experience with Spencer seat mods in the past? Know of anyone who has sent their Spyder seat in?

stuff goin on also we go there sometimes to.
Its kind of like going to a Historic Battlefield Sacred Ground you can feel a presense. My IT guy couldn't make it yesterday he had chores to do.
Or in this case smell a presense :spyder:

New BRP Comfort seat

Went for my 3000 mile ck up today and intended to purchase the new seat, very comfortable for driver but much shorter for passenger, wife tried the back and did not like, I tried it and found it not to be as comfortable on the back as the original seat, but the front was extremely comfortable. On the original I fell like I am trying to balance on a ball. I guess I am going to bite the bullet and go with the DayLong saddle so I can get a custom fit with a back rest.:dontknow:
