• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Survey was pretty much what you would expect -- who changes it, how often, what kind. The link appears to work with this post so give 'em a shout. Very little time involved....

I got the survey via email this past week and responded.. doesn't take much time as you indicate.. sure wish they would announce who get the $200 so we would have some proof it isn't a scam

Cornfused

Bought Spydie 2 months ago have not recieved SQUAT from BRP, no thank you, no welcome, no survey, no info on warantee extensions available, SQUAT. Seems like a strange way to treat a customer that just dropped nearly 30k on your product.:( Oh well I'll file that away in the memory bank for future reference.

BUT

I did recieve my payment book promptly within days from the bank.:(

:agree:, though I did get a JD Powers sort of thing about the dealer, who I said did well. I at least expected to hear about all the neat 'extras' that I should need/buy and the usual 'discount' if I bought right away, with coupons. If I had, I could then complain about SPAM<G>. "Expect nothing and never be disappointed." The Spyder is neat enough, if only she will let me ride it. A.

While the spyder is a great ride, BRP has been known to be a bit slow on consumer contact.. I think my welcome kit took about 4 months after I got my 2010 RTS, however now that I am finally in their system I get frequent communications.. Know how you feel, felt the same way, but it will get better and in the meantime enjoy the Spyder

:agree:Yes it is a neat machine, currently I am weighing the payment book in one hand and the Spydie in the other >>>> All I'm saying is that BRP is missing the boat to tip the scale in favor of the Spydie and away from the Bank payment book. Also as you say they are missing the oportunity to sell a S load of extras with your coupon book idea. Maybe we should apply at the BRP Corp HQ for a VP of sales position. But as Jim Croce said in his tune "Working at the Car Wash Blues" they are probably full up on genius. :roflblack:

Okay, did the survey, but didn't ask any info about me...so, there is no way that they can track who filled out the survey...

Ya I tried the link too with the same result, when I logged out I got a form to fill out asking for my e-mail address from some company I never heard of. Nowhere in any of it did I see anything indicating it was a ligitamite BRP survey so I did not give it to them and x'ed it out. Probably SPAM/SCAMnojoke

They didn't, but I added it under the Other category. :D

I would also like to find out who the winners of these surveys are, along with who won the BRP Dream Garage Giveaway thing. :dontknow:

Nope...should've been though...regardless, what type of survey looks like that and has no way to track those who take it? Odd...they could've just asked for my Spyder owner number...

I was thinking it was like the last BRP survey I took a few weeks back. They provided an i.d. number, which you entered before starting the survey; it was that i.d. number that provided your name and address.
