As the other writer has stated.
325 km/200 miles
1. Coming from a Ryker is a major thing in seating height and riding position
2. Shifting now is a thing to remember.
During some downshifts it causes the bike to kinda engine brake and sometimes feels as if the bike jumps forward as it downshifts. Happened 2 times that I noticed specifically. Kinda need to be on the brakes a bit harder.
3. Ordered a generic top box from Amazon and the mounting plate does fit. So send it back and will most likely order the OEM top box for now. Crossing fingers someone figures out the adapter hardware for the Shad box to swap.
4. Even in ECO mode, this thing rips. The Ryker in the EU is restricted to 50mph/80 kph and has less power until after that speed. So I forgot that the 6 speed is not limited, so full sending it kinda had an 'oh sh!t' moment. I have driven the Spyder F3 Sport before, so I know they are quick. But the Canyon seems to have a better launch response.
5. I couldn't do a direct ride to and from home before getting the Canyon, but someone thought they needed my Ryker more than me, and it was taken from my parking spot. But the lower rpm at highway speed is a real thing. It doesn't feel like you are winding the engine out just to keep up on the interstate.
6. Need to downshift to really accelerate, compared to the Ryker you just twist and go. But if you are in a higher gear like 5 or 6 and you want to pull away hard, you need to downshift. If you want to accelerate you can do that no problem, but to really accelerate, you need to downshift. I mentioned this part as a former Ryker owner when I caught myself twisting the throttle in 6th gear.

7. Waiting for the aftermarket to catch up and come out with other accessories. Some of the OEM stuff is priced way too high. The luggage bags for instance - 2.3k Euro for all 3. And from Shad at the time I'm writing this, it's about 1.2k Euro for all 3.
But there is more. This is for the 55 litre top and 47 litre side boxes. Stock is 48 litres up top and 37 litres on the side, if you wanted to get the stock size, it's closer to 1k Euro.
8. Being that there is a recall for the roller in the front for the belt, I'm hoping that they also include the EU. I only see it in the US for now.
9. Having power steering is a good and bad thing. You can adjust the amount of assist in each mode, but it resets after you shut the bike down. Standard model. I forgot to change the assist level and almost did myself in because I cut the the handlebar too quick. Coming from a Ryker with no power steering, needing to adjust the steering assist makes a difference for the step up to the Canyon.
10. The matt color on this bike hides dirt much easier and in my opinion, scratches will be harder to see. Which is a good thing, but if you do get one, you can see I feel this will be deeper.
Side note: Also, does anyone have an idea how low your VIN is? Mine is 28.
