There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Nelson-Rigg or Cortech Soft Bags? Which work best for 2 up riding?

I was thinking the Nelson-Rigg had the advantage. I just don't remember. And, wasn't sure if it was either this or the Cortech that needed to be turned around to allow the passenger's legs to fit good on the pegs?

I know that if my Wife's riding position is affected, she won't be happy.

Thanks in advance! :)

I am looking at the two different brand bags too (after suggestions from here).

Just not sure which ones to get either.

We used the Cortech bags for two-up riding and they worked well for us. I can't testify on the Nelson-Riggs bags though, never tried them.

i have same bags adn i think my opinion they interfere with passengers leg position it does work but not really comfortable for long rides ...thats why we are buying another spyder ...problem solved...:D:coffee:
maybe because we have backrest and spydergirl doesnt so passenger leans forward more than back

I have the Nelson Rigg CL-950's and with the extension straps under the seat, they should work OK. I recall somebody also turned them around, (wide part to the rear) to make a little more room for passenger feet.

Yeah, this was before we got our Corbin seats with the backrest. And when we got that, we also got the Corbin bags so we never used the Cortech bags with the backrest. They worked for us when we were in Arizona. Rode 200 miles one way from Flagstaff to Phoenix with them on and they were fine. The stock passenger footpegs are just in the wrong positiion.

That was jeuchler. I couldn't find his pictures of the reverse mount of the bags.

I have the Cortech bags on my spyder and I think they would interfere with the passenger foot position for a longer ride. Now if you got the sport version, those are almost identical to the Nelson Rigg bags and I do think you would have to turn them around to get the best position and comfort for your passenger. Just my opinion. I don't really have a passenger that often. We both have spyders and that solves that problem.

We used the Nelson Rigg Silver Streak Mini version since they provide a little more foot room than the standard. What you gain in foot room, you lose in cargo capacity. Finally went with Givi V35 set up and happy with that decision.
