There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Need a quick favor - what are a Spyder RTS' dimensions?

My spyder is at dealer, and I'm laying out the etrack tie downs in the enclosed trailer. Can someone measure the distance from center of tread front left wheel to center of tread front right wheel for me on a RTS. I basically want the front wheels to roll directly on top of the etrack in the trailer as it goes in and out.

Thanks in advance

From the owners manual it says front wheel track is 54.5 inches. That is for a 16 RTS. Does this help?

Thank you both. 54.5 sounds right, especially if you both agree.

Much appreciated :D

Looks like you plan on using over the wheel tie down straps that clamp to the e-tracks. That's what I plan on using when I buy my first Spyder.

Without touching off a whole slew of which method is better than other replies......

My initial option is going to be through the rim and into the etrack with a ring attachment for the two front wheels and the same for the rear. I am looking for a set of 'over the wheel net style tie downs' for the front wheels, but I haven't found any that I am sold on yet. If anyone knows of a good set that will fit between the fender and wheel of the front tires, I would be interested in what brand they are, and where you bought them?

Hi Brent!
Finding the right setup that'll fit between the tire and fender will be you quest. nojoke
Since I'm such a big Klutz: I'd rather use the channels to hold things in place laterally, and use a tie-down on each side, that goes to a forward anchoring point.
You can either go through the wheel, or wrap around the A-arms at a point just outboard of the lower shock mounts...

:DBut that's just me! :D
