• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Heading down to the Natchez Trace Parkway the first week in June and looking for any advice or comments from those who have been there.

Wife and I have been on the "Trace" twice on motorcycles; one in the car. One of our favorite rides ever. Best advice is make sure you get the Corp of Engineer map of the "Trace"... chock full of information.

Go s-l-o-w and enjoy it all!!:2thumbs:

Good advice. Also be on a constant lookout for deer. The area is chock full of 'em. It is a pretty ride, not at all technically challenging, but very scenic.

Just be careful and remember there a no fuel stops on the trace anymore and the speed limit is 50 mph strictly enforced. Deer on the Trace can not be overstated, I have drive from Tupelo to Natchez many times on the Trace and I have seen deer all hours of the day. If you are into Elvis Presley Tupelo is the his birthplace with a small museum and Tupelo Hardware where his first guitar was purchased. Natchez will have the most historical attractions Old South Winery (Muscadine Wine not Grape wine if I remember correctly) several Antebellum Homes. If you like fried catfish The original **** (this word is the same as another name of a rooster that can be used for a vulgar word since the forum looks for certain offensive words it will not display) of the Walk is in Natchez unfortunately it is no longer at Natchez under the hill area but has been relocated to the top of the bluff. I haven't been to Natchez since it was moved so I am going by what I have been told by others.
