• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Spyder has me feeling less than warm and fuzzy

P0172 struck me today. It was about 108 outside and I had to park the Spyder in the sun for a little over an hour. It started up just fine (temp sensor read 128) and about 2 minutes later CHECK ENGINE message took over the console.

Rode for a bit hoping the air movement would help. Was about 2 miles from home so I kept going and so did the blinking check engine light.

Got home, turned off the engine ran inside for 2 minutes. Came back out to park the Syder in the garage and upon starting it again the message was gone.

Note to self for next time. Run for a bit to circulate air - pull over and turn off engine and turn back on and hope the messaging goes away.

The code won't go away if you turn it off and it is parked outside in the sun. I think 122 is the temp that triggers the check engine and P0127 error.
