My new SKI adventure day 14

After a 12 day lay-off because my Season pass doesn't include some Holiday periods, I hit the slopes to-day ….. my first Two runs were not great, plus I need to loosen up ( while skiing ) ….. Today was quite cold ( 5 F ) and my " Hippo hands " did an excellent job of preventing any pain from the Cold temps...… The area I normally ski on was being Snow - gunned today so I headed over to the BIG mountain :yikes: ….. Not much wind which was a plus …… and after 3 runs I felt good enough to hit some ( single ) Black Diamond trails ….. :yes::yes::yes: ….. I must be getting better at this now, because I had No problems …. Tomorrow sound slike the weather will be even better …… Later …. Mike :thumbup:

Hi Mike,
I also skied today and will ski tomorrow. The Skitrax app had well over 12,000 vertical ft. in 2 hr and 15 min of skiing. Ya should try the app. Like you, I live close the to ski resort and multiple days are now in order. If I can't ryde the :spyder2: ( I could have today but I'd have to wear the ski gear anyway) I'll ski. One day I'd like to leave my skis at the resort and take the :spyder2: up the mountain.

As I said above----- skied today but it got crowded. All parking lots full. Each SUV must have had 3 kids and 2 parents as it got just tooooo crowded for me. Skiers/boarders stopping in narrow access trails is just stupid.

:agree::agree:...………. Stopping on the trails and avoiding them isn't as bad as when they congregate 15 to 20 feet from the chair lift … that leaves very little room to get around them :banghead::banghead:...……. I skied today but quit early because we had 6 inches dense snow ( high water content ) and my 71 year old legs are not in optimum shape yet …….. Mike :thumbup:
