Welcome to the May edition of the weather news. Indiana weather has been all over the place. May is a beautiful time of the year. Lot's of sunshine and rain will make everything look good. We are currently having a major thunderstorm here.

Today high is 62°F with some sunshine, low of 45°F.

Same crap as the last ten days here in southern WI. Clouds/rain/wind and 40 and 50's. I do see a 60 in the 10 day forecast....YUK!!

May began with a little above average temperature here in the desert S.W. The high was 96 degrees. No clouds. Breezy with winds at 14 MPH and gusts to 21. Humidity is at 6%. It was a good day to soak in the pool with friends. Stay safe..... Jim

Monday 5/02/22

:chat:...Welcome to the first Monday of May, currently 56'F in Indiana. Going to be a sunshine Day. Sunday morning we received over 2" of Rain. Needless to say my yard is very soggy. Maybe dry off later in the week, I hope.

Sunday afternoon I was able to get in a 3 hour Spyder Ryde with the wife. She enjoyed the time and the 'wind therapy'. This was her first real ryde of the season.
Today high of 68'F, with sunshine. Low 57'F. Now they are calling for rain tomorrow...:banghead:

May 1 was a bluebird day in the 80's. Today, rain, fog 70's.

Well here in Minnesota it's going to start getting nice and dry with temps in the upper 60's. That's the good news. The bad news is that on May 12th I'm going to have Anterior Cervical Decompression Fusion Corpectomy surgery and will be laid up for at least 2 months. My spinal column is in bad shape and pinching my spinal cord and nerves (The surgeon said I'm close to possibly being paralyzed). It maybe a non riding year for me depending on how everything goes. I hope all of you enjoy the nice weather in your area and get plenty of miles and smiles in this summer. I'll be riding in my mind and taking lots of imaginary trips.

The wife and myself just had two great days , April 30 and May 1 . Put around 200 km of 20c weather ,there is still snow on the sides of the road .

Prayers and Encouragement

20°C seems cold, when I looked it up and realized it was 68°F, well that's good ryding temperature.

Raining and currently 57°F. Going to be a crazy weather day for me. Grass is growing up and a real problem.

High today about 68°F with lots more rain. Low of 48°F.

Wednesday 5/04/22

...Man oh man did it rain yesterday. Got 2" of Rain. The colors are so beautiful and the grass is very tall. We have standing water in the yard today. Not sure about cutting the yard, but it needs a cut asap.

Currently 48°F with clouds and a chilly day.
High today only 62°F and cloudy low of 49°F.

Just going to enjoy the Day and Stay Healthy.
I will rest up and be ready to cut some grass as soon as possible. I will work on getting my 'honey doos' finished or so. Well most of you know the drill.

Thursday 5/05/22

..Going to be another rainy day in Indiana, currently 53°F. Not sure about all this rain, but it needs to stop for about a week. It will be 5 or 6 days before the yard is dry.
I got several of those 'honey doos' completed. She said that several more would be put on the 'List'.

Our deck is going on 30 years and guess it is time for an update/replacement. I will have to study more on that project. Did a quick quote and we were not ready for the price.

High today only 60°F, with some rain. Low of 55°F.

First Friday

...Yesterday I got another inch of rain. Thinking about the areas of USA that really need the rain, Indiana has a surplus. Maybe we should build a pipeline for moving water to areas that need it. Just a thought to think about.

Currently a little rain and 55°F. Supposedly the rain is only a morning issue. I will wait and see.

High 61°F with some clouds, low 48°F.

Mid 70’s here the next couple days with 60’s after that. Ryding season is finally here I think.

We sure could use some of that rain here in the desert S.W. The water level at Lake Mead, a reservoir that supplies 25 million people with water, is at its lowest level since 1937. Today's high is forecast to be 97. Tomorrow's forecast high is 100. (We usually exceed forecast temperatures by a few degrees.) At 11:30 AM today it was 93 degrees. Wind at 3 MPH and humidity at 12%. I'm betting we will exceed 100 today by late afternoon. Stay safe..... Jim

First Weekend of May 2022

...First off yesterday's rain was excessive, I received an inch and a half. Needless to say everything is growing fast. I have several ponds of water standing in my backyard. Luckily for me, the house is built up higher than my yard. So far no problems dealing with water in my crawl space. ......:yes:

No rain showers coming for the weekend is the report. I hope they are right. Not sure where I would put anymore water.

Saturday high 64°F, with some sunshine, low of 42°F.
Sunday's temperatures are 69°F, sunny and clear sky.
Low of 50°F.

It's 10:30 AM here in the desert S.W. The temperature is 90 degrees and headed to 100+ later today. Wind is at 3 MPH and the humidity is 11%. There are a few thin, high clouds in the distance. Today will find me soaking in the pool for an extended period of time. Stay safe..... Jim
