• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hard to believe that a sway bar can make that much of a difference but! Took the stock sway bar off yesterday and replaced it with the BajaRon bar and his end links plus while I was at it installed the spyderpops bump cap. Took about four hours but got it done. Was not hard but found I'm not as agile as I once was. Wife and I took it out last night for dinner and I swore some one had jacked up my radiator cap and slid a different bike under it. Like night and day different. Corners now like a slot car and even rides better. Its a 2012 limited and I liked it before but am totally impressed now. Knew it would be better but did not expect this much better. Thanks Ron for such a great product and also spyderpops for the bump cap. Looks great and now have front end protection as well. What a neat machine. Everytime we take it out my smile gets bigger.

:agree:. I really noticed the difference when I installed it as well. When we hit the twisties on this last trip the other Spyder was a 2010 RT Limited with the Elka's and a Juicebox controller. Ron's swaybar was the only performance mod I have on my bike and I was able to equal that machine. Corners like a dream!

Too Bad this Post Titled "man oh man!"

man oh man!
This is good information to know when considering a purchase of a sway bar from Ron.

Unfortunately, not just this poster, but many others, choose to use a title for their THREAD which is meaningless. No offense, but I have missed important information because titles offer nothing about the content of the POST.

Yes, I know you can do a search, but that depends on you choosing KEYWORDS that match the post sufficiently to pull it up. And if your search is just in the title (and not the entire post) no way you would EVER pull this up.

"man oh man!" has no meaning at all. If you have the time to read posts and chance upon this excellent information, then the information is valuable. I am one of those people who clicks on WHAT'S NEW to see what people are talking about and found this, but it was totally by luck.

If I hadn't happen to logon today, it slowly would have disappeared into the bowels of this FORUM and it would be lost to me.

I totally agree! My bike is a totally different ride with the new swaybar and new links. Lovin' it more every day!

Guess by some I should have said,Man oh man what a sway bar! Sorry I'll try to get better.
No worries!
Your thread's Title just made me want to read it in order to see what would provoke that response...
...And I should have known! :2thumbs:

Bob... you read EVERYTHING! I assumed you work for the ***** administration and the NSA a long time ago !! Just a shame for something like this to get lost.

Right now, it shows up under WHATS NEW, but slowly it will disappear, lost forever.

Not a criticism of the poster -- this happens on a lot on FORUMS everywhere.

EDIT NOTE: Guess the President's name is a NO-NO. Asterisks instead of *****. LOL

I only changed out the sway bar on my 2012 RTS and made a world of difference. You can use the factory links, which is what I did. Some of 2013's have defective links and are breaking left and right. The 2012's should be good to go.

Hi Chuck,
I swapped out my stock anti-swaybar over the Winter. While I was at it; I also slapped in a set of Elka shocks. The bar itself would have been an outstanding improvement, but adding the shocks did make it even better... The links will NOT change the handling of your bike at all. What it will just do, is give you peace of mind. and satisfaction in knowing that you've got the best possible parts under the front end of your bike! :2thumbs:
Since I like to live dangerously ... I just picked up a set of PitBulls shock relocator brackets. They will relocate the top shock mount to a more upright position. This will make the shocks feel stiffer.
My advice would be to pop for the "RonBar" first... Then if you wanted to stiffen up the front end a bit more; it's up to you as to whether you want Elka shocks, or PitBulls brackets...
