• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Low Speed / RPM Miss?

Friends 2008 RS SE5 has a low speed / rpm miss (up to 3500 rpm) then it clears up and runs fine. We are thinking coil pack, spark plug or wires. Any other thoughts? Are the spark plugs and coil packs hard to get to? Thanks.

Is the miss, off idle all the way up to 3500? If so, I would change plugs and wires. If it's just at 3500 ish, check y pipe gaskets and clamps.
Left side spark plug is easy, right side is harder, air box is in the way. Coil is easy access on left side.

It's may be the MAPS sensor, when it failed it did the same thing. Hard to keep running at idle, Hard time pulling out and would run fine after 3,700 rpms. The tech found it using there computer with the BRP software.

Thanks everyone. It seems to idle fine, misses just off idle to around 3500 rpm. Will check the things mentioned.
