• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Been sick for several days and now that I feel better the snow is in the area. They'll be throwing salt tonite I expect. Be a good time to call it a season. Only got a fuzz over 800 miles on my 2012 RTS since getting it on 19nov. But got a little over 5,400 on the Harley Road King before getting the Roadster. So about 6,300 miles for the year just mostly doing weekends wasn't to bad I guess. And now that I am retired, next spring will be a different story! It'll be an interesting year, I hope. Merry Christmas everybody!

Plan ahead

Plan your trips, farkles, etc. Great time to do that....plenty of riding coming up next year - hang in there!

You can keep the "Lake Effect "snow over there.

This morning we had a light dusting of the "White Fungus"......:gaah: The temps now in the 30's . But next week the temps will be in the 40's to 50's & rain. On Christmas day the temp's 58 degrees, according to WCAX.com. I just hope that we don't get snow in February, March, or April, that would cut in to my riding season. Deanna

The Party's never really over!

I've got a ST LTD that has saved my life in retirement. Gave me a new vision of how to make it in to the later years, without my wife of 42 years who died of cancer only four weeks after my retirement from the US Army (civil service). I've now put 27.820 km on her, after getting her running and riding like an ST should have come from the factory, but unfortunately didn't. Put BajaRon sway bar and alu heim joints on her, Fox shocks, new larger tires up front, and lots of nice things from Lamonster and Pete from WrapYourSpyder. Just finished my deal with the local Can-Am dealer for a new F3-S, also with all the nice things she will need. What the hell, the party isn't over until it's over! Hope to ride my new F3-S for another 10 years at least. Then I'll be over 80 and the party could be coming to an end. But until then, ride like the wind! Best from Bavaria! Rick
PS - I love Willy Nelson!

Technically; Lake effect snow is just regular PIA snow... on STEROIDS!!

Snow on STEROIDS! Your not kidding. Got caught up in that one time on Tug Hill, did not think we were going to make it back, AND we were on snowmobiles! We had about 5 feet in about 6 hours.:yikes:

I've seen it come down almost that fast a couple of times also (7" per hour!)... You're right; it can be pretty dang distressing! nojoke
