Lost A fellow member today

I am sadden to report that the Spyderlovers bother and sister hood lost member Butch today.

Yesterday on his way to one of our MN chapter rides he struck a deer. He was air lifted to a hospital where the removed his shattered spleen, but due to brain damage pass away today.

I was honored to have considered him a friend and will be greatly missed.

This is just terrible news..When I read anything about Minnesota on here,Butch's name was always there..My wife and I traveled to Minnesota last year,and Butch and Seth were my main source of information before we left..Once there Jim,Les and Kathy were so kind to show us around..Butch could not make it because he was visiting either his or Paula's for Fathers Day...Our condolences Paula..Know that you and Butch touched more lives than you know...My wife and I will never forget your help..ray:ray:...Bob and Denise

Paula had sent me a text yesterday about the accident and then I had an update from Seth last night. I checked my phone during the night and was hoping that no news was good news. I am so saddened by this . Butch was the best guy and a wonderful friend to everyone.

Joe and and I met Butch and Paula in 2010 at our first Spyder event and we have been friends with them ever since. My heart goes out to Paula and their daughters Heidi and Heather and to Seth.

A a piece of my heart broke today.

Deer are so unpredictable. This happens more often than you can imagine. Please be vigilant and on the watch for them. I did not know Butch but lived in MN several times and of course rode there a lot. There are more deer now than ever. Please be careful.

This is such awful news. We are thinking and praying for Paula and their family. Butch was such a wonderful man and one of a kind. We remember when we met them. He will truly be missed by all who knew him, but the Lord must have needed another Angel in Heaven.
