• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for a suitable Half Cover For a 2019 RT with a Luggage Rack - any thoughts?

Running into issues finding a half cover for a 2019 RT Ltd that has a rear luggage rack. My BRP cover will not fit. Any thoughts?

Well, they're are out there. I'll unpack mine and try to get a manufacture name for you later today. I do have a Safety Chrome Luggage rack on my 2014 RTS. That's where I carry our 2 rain suits and the cover (and a few sundries)

I have a '14 RT with a luggage rack. Yep, normal factory-made covers won't fit. I have two covers, a half (my favorite) and a full, both OEM. I made a template of a cover to fit the added luggage rack and took both covers to a custom upholsterer, who modified them to fit the application. The results were perfect.

I'm using one of these from Amazon.

It was around $20 and I have had the current one for a couple of years. I have an F3 Ltd.

Hey quick question.
I am storing my Spyder in a garage and my wife and kids decided to get a cat; they gave her permanent home in garage. Now this cat is all over the Spyder. Which cover would you recommend to get so that the cat wouldn't be able to get under it?

You might put a plastic cover over it and place some moth balls under the bike and cover, should keep the cat and rodents away from your Sypder.

Cling wrap plastic, or better yet, tin foil baking sheets loosely laid on every cat sized horizontal surface of the bike before you put whatever dust cover you might choose over the Spyder will work. As others have mentioned here and elsewhere on the Forum, moth balls will also help keep cats and rodents away too. :sneaky:

As for your choice of cover, you can drape it with anything as a dust cover inside the garage; maybe use an old sheet, a bed spread, a table cloth (if it's big enough, a couple of towels, basically anything you choose/have handy! The only real reason you might choose to pay out for a dedicated cover should be if you want to use it elsewhere, but if you value your Spyder's paint work, DO NOT cover it while trailering on an open trailer - a cover WILL flap, and the paint on these things is soft enough that it WILL be damaged if the flapping goes on for anything much more than a few minutes!! ;)
