• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Location of the brake pedal on the RT

Does anyone find it at all annoying that the brake pedal seems back too far, and a bit too high...

I assume that you have a slightly different layout than is on my model because I feel exactly the opposite.
On my '11 RT, the pedal is too close to the body work in front of it AND is slightly below the peg level. Both bad things.

I have an oversized pedal to install and may shim it up just a bit when I install it.
But I suspect that my toe will still tend to hit the fender when I go for the brake.

Just an FYI .. on the install.

... in my case anyway.
Reference to the above pic for the seller's instructions for install.
I found that I had to install the actual aluminum extension underneath the footplate instead of underneath the spacers.
This made the extension arm high enough to the point it would collapse the footrest under heavy braking.
In my case, as installed shown above, my footrest didn't collapse.
Your install may vary.

thats how i did mine, but i ground the spacers at an angle. i also used a spring underneath just because.

I might grind down the spacers later.
Already had the return spring underneath from when I installed the larger brake pedal - it is needed.

I found I needed the return spring while on the ferry there was an overhead announcement that my brake lights were going crazy because of the motion of the boat. Thought it was a malfunction at first, then figured out it was my brake pedal.

Great Bob.....Now I want the oversized brake pedal.....AND the sheepskin seat cover.....will it EVER end? :gaah: My Honey says it would have been cheaper just to enroll me in the "Jewelry Of The Month Club!"

I would suggest the "Ever Us" collection.
You can get it through
