Hi,
Old story, spent more than two decades on 2 wheels using hand brake 95% of the time. The more I have ridden the Spyder, the more comfortable I have become using the foot brake. Previous ankle injuries and age make lifting my foot "quickly" to engage the foot brake challenging. For safety reasons, I want to be able to just rotate my foot over the brake pedal with minimal lifting of my foot to engage the brake. I have already removed the rubber brake pedal cover and covered the brake lever foot pad with grip tape. That helped a lot. Looking for more.
Hand brake modification last consideration simply due to cost. See two other modifications available: 1) driver foot board risers, and 2) adjustable brake rod.
I'm 6' 2'' with more legs than torso, so don't want to raise foot boards more than necessary.
Looking for anyone with experience using an adjustable brake rod to lower brake lever.
Thanks
