Limited Edition Numbers

Is there any info out there about the number of "limited edition" models that were made?

My Harley StreetGlide is called Radical Ice and it's number 80 of 200. I've only seen one other like mine since 2007. I'm now on the lookout for other F3-T triple blacks! 😎

Limited was not limited production. They're not numbered but refers to a set of options that the bikes came with as standard for the model designation.

I think the OP is talking about the 10th Anniversary Limited Edition models, not just the models with the Limited designation as part of the model name. I would be interested in the same information.

It would be nice to know how many 10th anniversary editions were made. As far as F3Ts, in the Vegas area there are at least 2 now.

The OP is not referring to the 10 Anniversary edition. She has a Triple Black F3 Special Series and I am not too sure that they had any limited numbers of those made. I believe that the 10 anniversary edition was a build order model, and they were taking orders until the end of July!

They're limited to the number they can sell... :joke:

Those of us who had Premier Editions back in 2008 are familiar with how BRP works these things. Even then there were supposed to be 2,500. The numbers ran from 001 - 3600. Crazy eh? Yeah.. due to the last 4 digits of the VIN, they had intermittent VIN numbers that were not PE models.. hence the higher than 2,500 number. Some with numbers over 2,500 were upset. We originally though BRP was making more than what they said.

In the end they cleared it up as much as they could and it appears they only made just over 2,500 actual PE numbered editions.... which are not worth anything more than any other model... unless maybe a guy kept one in a crate or has #0001...(which they actually made 3 of) but I'm sure just being owned by Jay Leno gives that one a special value. Mine was # 1977.. I still have the handlebar insert from it.

I'm not sure that they've done an actual limited production number since the first ones.

So limited... special.. premier.... anniversary....... they're basically selling points that really aren't worth more than other models. Buy the model you want to ride......

The 10th Anniversary Bikes can be ordered through October 24th.
I really do hope that they release the production numbers: they'll have them at the top of the pile on October 25th!

:bowdown: You have the information covered FF. I also had a 2008--but it was not a Premier. They also tried "Premier" editions again in 2010 with the RTS. I had number 474. No extra value there either. The new "Limited" editions they introduced by special order earlier, are supposed to be numbered as ordered. Am guessing these will look great with their special badging, but don't think they will gain in value either. So far, I believe that two people have posted about special ordering one. Bob and one other--sorry I cannot remember who. I am sure there are others. :bbq::bbq:

Yeah I was just curious about quantities of overall units. My Harley is a numbered Edition and it's only worth Xx dollars but I like the cool factor. I am now on a cool Triple Black and plan to ride the daylights out of it. 😂 Did my first 200+/- miles yesterday and spent the evening on Lamonsters website 🤔 Rode down to Georgetown, SC yesterday. Didn't see any other spyders out and about but I waved to a lot of other bikes, heck I was having so much fun I even waved to a few cars and trucks!

Tough one....

The feel good labling aside, it has always been next to impossible to get production figures for these machines. Till they announced their 100,000th unit few knew anything and still don't as to models and years. Would be nice to see how many of each GS,RS,RSS,ST,RT and F3 have been made...

Numbers built model by model and year by year?? I am thinking that we are not going to get that information to easy--but, I could be wrong.

100,000 in about 10 years--indicates 10K assorted per year. Early years (08/09) probably much less than that. 2010--intro year for the RT--probably a few more. 2014--intro year for F3 and 1330 on RT--a few more. It's all speculation.
