my wife and I went for our 1st interstate run this past weekend.
up till now we were doing in town riding to get into the comfort zone on how the Spyder rides and handles.
Living in Florida we normally ride with 1/2 helmets and our current windy is the "blue ridge".
well...at highway speeds the Wind Noise not the wind itself is excruciating for the passenger.
we switched spots and the wind noise for the passenger is unbearable.
we've thought about earplugs/ear muffs but that's a bandaid and not a solution.
on a cold day(which is rare) this wont be a problem as we would wear full face helmets.
the windshield is fine for the pilot and the blue ridge looks good and gives the Spyder a balanced look,IMO.
is there a windy that will help with the passenger and WONT make me look like I'm 90 years old?:dontknow:
to large of a windshield and I might as well take the darn car.
thanks,mark
BTW...I have the F3 idler wheel and neither of us felt any vibration at 75 mph:yes:
