Lesson Learned (with updates)
So I had my bike in for my oil change last week. Picked it up and away I went. We were thinking about taking the bike out of town this weekend so I thought hmmmmmm .. maybe I should check the oil. I normally do after every four rides or so. After we finished a quick 30 minute ride tonight I pulled the panel and checked my oil as I always have.
At first I think to myself, I must be crazy. So I wipe off the dip stick and check it again. Uhhhhhhhh .... let me try this one more time. Wipe off the stick and check it one last time.

What you see here is not a bottle of that tasty and nutritious Gatorade, but nearly one quart of oil I took out of my bike. One freakin quart!!! How in the wide wide world of sports can a bone head mechanic put nearly one quart too much oil in a bike? Can you not read a dipstick???? And what makes me madder is I have put about 200 miles on the bike since my oil change with it being too full. :banghead:
So tomorrow I will be paying a visit to the local dealership to have a little talk. I know it's my fault for not following up and checking behind them to make sure it was done correctly. I can promise you from now on there will be zero oil changes at the dealership for me.
Folks watch your six folks because if you aren't, then no one is.
