• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Do not take things out of the trunk and set them on the upper A-arm. If you do, you must remember to put them back in.

Saturday while in Indiana I put my Booster riding glasses and my GPS on top of the A-arm while rearranging the trunk for stuff my wife bought. Needless to say I forgot to them back in. I had the GPS in the trunk because I didn't really need it, brought it along just in case we did.

We get to the next town and can't find what we're looking for. I'm thinking I'll just get out the GPS and punch in the POI. At that point a hot flash rushes through my body, I go into rapid eye movement and my mind starts going 100mph. OH :cus: !!!!

We went back to the store and I did recover my sunglasses. Someone took them into the store and gave then to a clerk. I am grateful for that as they were not cheap. Unfortunately no GPS.:(

Let me tell this one....My Son was pushing a cart down ramp to Boat Dock to load stuff in his boat for a family day on water. In a bag on top of stuff
he was going to load in boat where 2 Android phones, his Ipod and other essentials, He got distracted and bag slid off cart into water needless to say...Glug..Glug..Glug...:yikes:

BUMMER---- I've never used the a-arms for that-- but I did leave my wallet on the rear seat once and took off. Luckily I did my usual 'take off like it's a rental car' and it dropped in the driveway. Got a few miles down the road and realized what had happened.

I feel more normal already. The other day a guy was looking over the RTS, and asked about the LED accent lights on it. When I gave him a puzzled look, he reached into the right wheel well and pulled out my rechargeable LED trouble light. He asked how long I had gone with that thing in there and I told him 2,200 miles...including the rainy trip to Spyderfest! Too bad you didn't find the GPS, my trouble light still worked.

Hot dog another reason why I don't HAVE a GPS. Maps are cheap and found just about anywhere.:D:roflblack: so sorry bout your gps tho.

I have done it also. Left suff on the A-arm while parking Spyder. Lucky it was still there when I got back. No one took my bank bag with a deposit in it----lucky, lucky, lucky. Fortunately, I think I learned from that incident, and have not repeated since.

Well at least you didn't waste a lot of time looking for it.

As far as my GPS. I can only hope the person that found it will push the home button and send it to that address.
Oh, like thats going to happen. :roflblack:

Been there and done that more than once over the years. I also left my wallet on the back part of the seat, (I quite often put it in the brp carrier).
This time I must have been distracted. My wife was riding her spyder in the back of three of us and I could not see her in the mirror. I turn around and she had just finished getting my wallet off of the highway -strewn credit cards and all.

It is also a great place to store your digital camera. After going on a poker run, I got some great pictures of all the bikes that were involved. I get home and can't find the camera. I then get a call from the club president that they found my camera with the tire marks on it where I rode over it. I did remember the bump I felt when I took off, but thought it was a rut. The worst part, it was the wife's camera. ($200 later I get her a new camera). At least she likes the new camera better than the old one.

What a wonderful world it would be if that did happen, but I am highly skeptical as well. :(
