Pat and I took our 2 month old RT-S for it's first REAL ride. Took I91 from Hartford, Ct. up to beautiful SR112 in New Hampshire and headed east to Conway NH on the Kangamagus highway. "Charlotte" performed very well. It was a fantastic trip except for an hour-long embarrasing incident where one of us accidentally hit the emergency cutoff switch at a scenic overlook. :sour: (Did you know that when you do that the oil light stays on when you try to start her up?) (sigh) No cell phone signal either. We thought we were destined for bear food. Checked the oil and fretted about for an hour until an old timer on a new Gold Wing stopped by noticed the switch was flipped.

pps: Since I always leave the switch on it never occurred to me to check. Anyway....moving on......we noticed that the leaves are already turning in parts of Vermont. My favorite season is here! I'm sure we'll be heading back up there in October.
