• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lamonster F3 RIP Boards in stock!

Thanks for the suggestion Lamont, but I want to keep my stock F3 boards. I'll see if anyone has updated to boards and has some pegs they want to get rid of out here if I can't buy the fittings from you as part of the RIP boards......I am also interested in the highway pegs that will mount on the RIPs. Any rough idea when they may be available?

Pete

I have the highway brackets in stock now. I just need to add them to the store with the peg options.

I'm not saying you're a liar, not sure how you get that out of my comment. I answer every email I receive. I have been on the road for the last 12 days so if it came in then it could have been missed I guess.

So you have my attention now, what is it you emailed me about and I'll do my best to answer you.

My original email about whether the RIPs would work with #5 was answered by Jacob this morning, thanks. Your comment made it sound as though I was making up the fact that I had not received a reply because you "respond to every email". Much ado about nothing, I guess. Can we start afresh?

Pete

Just asking

Is there any need to use a something like blue Locktite on the threads to be sure nothing loosens up? I'm just concerned about Murphy's law kicking in at some point.

This may be a necessary option for me. I won't know until my I am healed enough to throw my leg over my bike again. Thanks for the bitchen option! :)

That's up to you. I have thousands of miles on them and I've checked and all the bolts are still snug. I don't like using locktite on stainless into aluminum.

Playing with some Monster style highway bracket options. I hope to have three options when I'm done. These are locked in with two bolts and will not rotate.

Update on brackets avail? Used R-I-P boards for the first time yesterday, I must admit, really pleased. Now all I need is the highway bracket to complete the long haul comfort level.

I'm going to push to get the new brackets in next week. The new pegs should be here tomorrow. :doorag:
