• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

They are rare, almost like unicorns. So lets show how much we worship them

Hmmm....don't 'worship' them, but do appreciate these women who are an essential part of the ryding community. My wife, Jane, on a recent trip through SW Utah.

My charming wife (she didn't tell me to say that) and I just concluded a 2100 mile trip from San Antonio to Tucson and Bisbee, Arizona (and return). She rode better than I did but then she's a few years younger. She's never been interested in riding "pillion" so she has her own RT Limited - and several other bikes. I'd share a photo but I can't remember where I put the camera! Another senior moment - rats and rats again!! ;)

I did find this photo however. If you ever plan a trip to the quaint copper mining town of Bisbee, Arizona, staying at the Shady Dell Vintage Trailer Park is a real hoot. It's like stepping back into the 1950s among a bunch of large and small vintage trailers, a "tiki bus" and even a cabin cruiser. Our "room" was a 1957 Airloft trailer designed for two people and was charming. They even allow motorcycles to park by their trailer although normal vehicles are limited to the parking area outside the gated park itself. And in a town where the hotels are all on narrow streets with little parking nearby that's a treat.

If that is your image of a female rider, no wonder you think they are rare. Real women ride but usually don't wear high heels.

She's wearing block heels, not stilettos. Safety first!

Did you know I wore stilettos on my Harley? Rode right into a Las Vegas chapel and Elvis married us. True story.

You got married to your stilettos?:doorag:

It was our 25th anniversary vow renewal many years ago.

Marble tile is slippery for both tires and stilettos. I was able to put the kickstand down without slipping into the pews. :doorag:

Keep that in mind for the next Ryde-In to Tombstone! Thanks!
