• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, since we're waiting on acouple of heavy rain storms to wash the salt and sand off the roads around here,I figured(along w/my wife, thankfully!) that I would pony up the cash and install a BAJARON swaybar and bunpskid last week. Have to admit that the bumpskid gives the machine alittle more appeal in the front and can't wait to find a great curvy road to put that swaybar to the test. You people that live out west and down south,GLAD you're having sooooooo much fun!!:p:p

Couple inches of snow in our forecast for Sunday night, here in southern WI. Would be nice to see a nice steady, cleansing rain...

You know where we're at....

you will be quite pleased with the swaybar. The bumpskid do dress the roadster up. And as for all our suffering and pain....you can always join us at the lower left end of north america...:roflblack::roflblack: I can run you down some roads that will test the :cus: outta that swaybar...

I recently did both of those to my 14 rt and am enjoying them both. The new bar makes the ride more enjoyable and the bumpskid does look good. It hasn't been tested yet by anything on the road but when I installed it, I noticed some scrapes underneath from an earlier ride that the skid pad won't let happen again.

Same mods

Our one month old RT-S has the same mods ( Anti-sway bar and bumpskid) The bar made a big difference. Be sure to check your tire pressure though!!!!

Took me a few hours to raise the Spyder high enough to replace the sway bar. After that it was easy peasy.

How much does the dealerships charge to install the bar???

Kaos

My experience with the sway bar the dealer installed for me is that the Spyder is rock solid stable in heavy crosswinds and amidst the semis on the interstate. Out on a really windy day following some two wheel hooligan friends at a safe distance I watched them get caught by crosswind gusts that blew them all over the road. I could feel the wind buffeting me but the Spyder didn't move at all. In the twisties they say I am getting faster but how much of that is me growing more accustomed to the Spyder and how much is bar I can't really say. I can go deeper into corners with no body lean but I can't validly compare to stock bar because I never rode with it. My test ride of an RT-S was more a fun familiarization ride than trying to see what I could do but it did sell me on the Spyder.
