There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Just a silly question - do all F3's have Cruise &/or BRP Go?

No - depends on year and model. My 2016 F3L has cruise but not BRP Go.
I don't think any of the lower spec F3's come standard with Cruise - it's a feature of the F3-T's & Ltd's - but if you want to buy the appropriate handgrip/control module & plug it in, it's all there! :thumbup:

:agree: and let me add that quite a few members here discovered that the wiring harness is there .....just add the control module ..... Mike :thumbup: .......right now I'm investigating if I can do this to my 14 Nissan Versa, the previous owner didn't buy that option ..... but I have found the steering wheel modules from salvage sellers for about $50.00 .... I need to find out if my basic model has the CLOCK SPRING that matches .... it's under the Air Bag ...... Mike :thumbup:
Base F3's don't come std with cruise but its nice to know I can add it later.
The only F3 Model that didn't come standard with Cruise was the was the Base Model.
F3 - No cruise standard.

In 2016 the F3L didn't come with a trunk. Starting in 2017 - all F3L came with a trunk.
Oddly enough - in 2016 the F3T had the radio optional (only year the F3T didn't come standard with a radio).
New Dash came out in 2018. F3T and F3L that are 2018 and newer have the new dash with BRP Go.
F3S 2018 had the old dash - not sure on 2019 - but 2020 and newer have the new dash as well - but no speakers/etc - so it does have Bluetooth and BRP Go capable - but you have to connect your helmet to the bike to hear the info from the bike. To be honest - this seems a bit odd to me - I'm not sure why they bother - I would just bluetooth my phone directly to my helmet - but that's me.

The Base and S 2018 and newer models do not have BRP Go nor do they have CC. The earlier models same but LCD dash. Base and S models are pretty much basic models.
Specials, limited and touring models come with CC and 2018 & newer have the smartphone integrated dash.

Not sure what you are basing your info on - but the F3S (Sport Model) does come with Cruise Control (all years). I was incorrect in my post above (editing next) though - in that there was at last 1 year maybe 2 - (2018 for sure) when the new dash was in the F3T and F3L but not the F3S but by 2020 the F3S also got the new dash with BRP Go though it doesn't have speakers - you can connect your helmet bluetooth to the bike.
Correct. My 21 base F3 has the Ryker style screen, no CC nor BRP go and has the smaller sprocket.

Those I've seen/done here in Oz have been a fairly simple 'replace the original handgrip with an upgrade handgrip that has the Cruise Control button on it, plugging all the wiring in when you do so' type job, (you might need to clip a zip tie or two to get sufficient wiring loom length to do the 'remove/replace' bit
) and then since the upgrade handgrip has the Cruise Control button on it, it'll operate as tho it was there from the beginning! I can't remember doing anything else, certainly not anything involving BUDS. :dontknow:My 2020 Spyder F3S comes with Cruise Control but not BRP Go. I wish that the RPM and Temp could be seen on the dash together rather than just pick one...
