• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks for the update, Forrest. Glad the trip home was uneventful. It was a delight to be able to spend some time with you at Lamont's. I thought a lot about you tough guys on my 14 hour ride home. Does anybody know where I can buy an anesthetic butt pad? :roflblack:

I am sure there may be more than a couple of ryders who bought the Anti Monkey Butt powder they were selling at The Dragon. Sorry, I did not see any anesthetic pads though. :D

Just Maybe, you or someone could come up with a handle bar or seat swing.

We used to ride ATVs in the Appalachian Mountains from sun up till dark hard and fast and often wet. We use NEOSPORIN® and believe me it works and yes you apply before you leave. Don`t want to change the subject but hope this helps.;)

Route Home?

I met you at the meet and greet and you indicated you came up on hwy 441 just curious if you took the same route home? I too am florida and took hwy 441 back.

YES

Glad you made it safe Forest! Liz and I rode 250 miles in the rain; guess the new DPSs worked OK. Hope to see you in Cuba!

I came back 441 on Sunday. Changed my plans due to the weather.
I left Gatlinburg at 9:30am, rode in rain off and on all day and was in Gainesville FL at 8:30pm I stopped for dinner and checked the radar. Tampa was under a big storm so I decided to pack it in for the night. (only 3 hours from home)
The Spyder likes the rain and ran the best it ever did at 2 and 3 bars all day! I seem to make better time when I am alone (no one to talk too when I stop!)
I will mention that when the road is under 1-2 inches of water the Spyder gets "rear wheel steering" at about 55 MPH! (The rear hydroplanes)
Great trip! 9.5 on a scale of 10!

My trip home went fine except one minor ? problem. 1 1/2 hour in stop and go traffic on I 75 crossing over into Ohio at the bridge.

I hope everybody made it home safe.
