Judging by the comments it seems as if the NYT readers are a bunch of a:cus:hats.
Yes, the Spyder does have an older demographic, but look at who is buying cycles across the board... 40-50+ (kids are gone, more disposable cash, looking to recapture fun, etc.) It's not young guys buying new $30k Harleys. They can't afford them. Bike sales are down 55% and those of us in the older bracket are starting to enjoy our lives. So yes, Spyders do attract more safety oriented, mature markets, but maybe we just have more to live for!![]()
