• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yes it will work jaso ma2

That will work just fine.

It is a oil designed for a motorcycle.
It does not have an API rating of SM.
It is 10W40 close enough to spec of 5W40.
Not a required spec but as a bonus has a JASO clutch slip rating of MA2

Frankly, imho, that's better than anything you can get from BRP, and far exceeds the Spyder's oil spec's....................Mike

JASO MA1 and JASO MA2 both cover different parameters for the wet clutch.
Plain JASO MA without a number after covers the same parameters as both 1 and 2 combined, plus more.
I only use JASO MA without a number as that's what's recommended by the makers.
Just had this debate with my Penrite stockists.
JASO MA approved Penrite 5-40 MC full Synthetic is what I use.
