OK, so here's an update after the TST was performed on my Spyder
Short story : The fix didn't work on my 2024 S2S
Long story : Got it back from the dealer on Friday (April 17) after they changed the "Friction washers" and I had the chance to talk with the mechanic and I was shown the used pieces - they were worn out !! (the 2 parts identified as #7 in the drawing in post #7 of this thread),
Anyway, brought it back home, got to start it twice on the Friday and all was good. The next day, it started without the noise and drove it for about 90 miles (150 km) and after lunch, the noise came back upon starting, just a little bit for 2-3 seconds. Stopped for gaz a few moments later, and when I started it back, the noise was there in full blown energy like before... after only about 5 starts and 90 miles!! Now every time I start it, especially when hot, it's whining again just like before the fix!
Stopped by the dealer today (Wednesday April 22) and let them know, they will reach out to BRP to see what can be done from there.
