Is anyone else having Issues logging on?

Probably know this already, but having issues w pages loading etc. If I log out everything here works great. Being I run a couple car forums I know in the controls how certain things can be done to slow down or control users. Also posting this because it won’t let me contact any Admin, also a switch that can be turned off. If a forum issue I get it, but haven’t seen anyone post about issues. So wondering what is going on and why?

I had that problem. Turn off your VPN or have it not to be used for this site. Clear your cache and reset your browser. That is what worked for me.

No idea what a VPN is. I’ve logged off and cleared the site a couple times now.

I have had this issue in the past. Ended up be a problem with the router/modem. Provider had sent out a update to the modem, and for some reason the update did not install correctly, causing random issues. Tech came and connected directly to the modem and pushed the update. It took a couple tries for him to get it to take. Since he had so much trouble with the update, he ordered a new modem, and installed it a few days later. No more issues after that.
So, if you have not unplugged the modem and plugged it back in, so it restarts, you might try that.

I can try that, but why when I’m logged out I can go through threads on the forum pretty quick. Once I log in it could take up to 5 mins to load one page. And no other website I’m on has this issue.

If you’ve not logged on for a while and you still have the website open, try refreshing the page.

Excellent catch (Pun intended)

Catch 22 references a WWII military rule that created a paradox. In which if a pilot wanted to avoid dangerous combat missions, they were able to file for a mental evaluation to prove they were insane. But the military considered the act of filing as evidence that the person, being rationally concerned for their welfare, was defacto evidence of sanity. Therefore, the person filing would have their claim denied and be required to continue flying combat missions.

I've always found paradoxes to be paradoxical...

I only said when I am logged on I can’t go between pages. It takes a very long time sometimes 10 minutes sometimes not at all.. if I log out and go through the forum as a guest, I can go through every page with no issues at all.
So this is only happening when I’m logged on and only on this website. And again for the second day, I can’t reach any admin to ask about the issue.

I know, but there wasn't much to work with there. So, I inflated and exaggerated the original statement to a more interesting level of discussion. The news media does it all the time. I'm just trying to keep up with current trends...

No one seems to notice when they do it. But I suppose I should have known better than trying to get away with it here...

Lets start with the navigation issue, and switching between pages.

I just clicked through 15 pages (yes, I counted) with no loading issues. Pages came up quickly.

Just because you sent them a message does not mean they are immediately going to respond, or even respond at all especially if you are reporting a problem. They'll investigate the problem and either fix something, or not be able to confirm the problem and move on to the next message.

It's not a conversation, it a way to send a message to the admins.

Edit: but if it makes you feel better, I could add you to my Ignore list and then you wouldn't receive any responses from me, either.

You’re good Raccoon, I’ve been here since 2008, before most of the current Admins and know what’s going on. I’ve done lots of mods in the last couple days to my new F3, but can’t get a thing to post but no biggy. Takes me an 10-15 try’s just to get to this thread for a response. I know what’s going on, it’s just sad no one haves the stuff to stand up to it. Got some great stuff to work w Spyderpops today that would help some. Only able to post on Facebook pages where most people have migrated to anyway. Shame
