• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Is AccuWeather usefull in Canada?

The thread discussing AccuWeather in BRPConnect caused me to wonder about this.

Is Accuweather usefull (up to date) in Canada or is it more oriented toward the US.

Is it worth installing on my phone for local use, any one in Canada already using this app.

Thanks!

My thoughts are that BRP decided to use the apps they chose because of their ability to be used anywhere they sell Spyders. Since the bike’s are made in Canada, I would think Accuweather would work just fine.

Yes Accueweather is useful in Canada. I use it as well as several other sources. You might want to also look at the "Storm"App for short term weather radar forecasting.

Our local TV station uses AccuWeather for their forecasts.

accuweather accurate ?

Don't know about the rest of the countries but I have the Accuweather app on my Samsung Phone and "at least in areas I live and ride" (western Washington and Oregon) it is wrong more times than right ! I'm referring primarily to the "hourly forecasts for rain or temp" it shows for any given day, as well as the expected highs or lows. It is however about as accurate
as our local forecasters on TV, who always want to tell you how hard it is to project around here anyway.;):banghead:
