• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This little thing does 10 mph! We were going to let him ride it around while we walked around checking out vendors. In the best intrest of everyone's shins we'll forgo that little idea

Oh yeah and one more thing...........

Wait for it

It lights too. :) He says I'm a cool Momma. :) I'll take that. In another 8 years I won't be 'cool' to him anymore.

I'm sorry but that is just WAAAAAY too cool for a Nine year old!! :roflblack: :roflblack: Man that is great! We made some chopper conversions out of old Schwin frames when we were young but we were older than Nine and they never looked quite that good! Neat stuff man! I'm guessing the lights are Mike's handy work...

Beg your pardon there, love, but those lights are MY handywork. :)

I wanted to take off the fenders and the tank to custom paint it but my son won't let me. Seeing me take it apart to replace the batteries and fix the recharge switch was practically his undoing for some reason. :roflblack:

I taught him how it worked and how to use it. He's SUCH a good listener and SOOOO smart. Then he came blasting through the tea olive bush! :roflblack::roflblack: Almost peed myself laughing! Poor boy just didn't see the humor in it tho. hahahaha

He's MUCH better at it now. Only had to crash about 5 times before it earned his respect.

:2thumbs:
Not quite the same but i got my Grandson an 12v 4 wheeler, Started using when he was 3, At 5 got him a 50cc kaw ATV . One thing there was no compromising on He wear's a helmet when ever he rides. Young kids when they fall and they will fall, almost always hit there head first,:sour:

My Grandson 7 rides 50cc kaw. dirt bike. never to young to let them ride.
Hope he doesn't see one of those i know i have to get him one.Way too cool.

We will be doing LED lighting installs at Spyderfest if you can make it there.

9 years olds should be on bicycles...better exercise!

No worries, he is on his second bike now and rides it all over the place as well. Plus, these batteries don't last for a very long time, and then take a good 8 hours to fully charge again.

I figure this is his stepping stone to a gas powered machine some day. He already has his gas powered go kart and figured out how to make it drift around the property. :roflblack:

I'll be this his Mom still tells him that he's a cutie! :roflblack:

And that's a way cool chopper for a nine year-old! :2thumbs:

...and my 'puter DID take the caffeine hit when I saw this! :ohyea:

Ron, hope you're looking over your sholder, Lamonster may be there.
:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

See, that is why you NEVER assume!! I stand corrected, M'Lady!! Kids get reeeeal protective of the stuff they love the most, so that doesn't surprise me really. That boy is lucky to have good parents that hook him up like that! :D
