I see a lot of low ball quotes. The only way to compare is to look at total coverage. How much deductible, how much replacement cost ,etc. I pay the better part of a G note and we don't have a whole lot of companies to select from.:dontknow:
You are correct. My $219/yr w/ Geico is for 100k/300k/50k liability, $250 ded f/ comprehensive, and $500 ded for collision. No towing, that's covered by my GWRRA membership.I see a lot of low ball quotes. The only way to compare is to look at total coverage. How much deductible, how much replacement cost ,etc. I pay the better part of a G note and we don't have a whole lot of companies to select from.:dontknow:
Didn't cruise control make them obsolete?Since radar detectors are legal in almost every state I often wonder why more people don't have them?
Well; there's actually an honest to goodness SERIOUS discussion about insurance costs and coverages...What does that mean?
I was just looking at your travel map. With all the states and provinces you have been to, how could you not have come to Idaho? You don't know what you're missing![/QUOTE
Been asked that question several times. We were traveling up from California and had planned to go from Washington to Idaho but decided to drive up to Canada. We loved the Rockies and instead of coming back south went on to Banff and Jasper, Alberta and then down from Medicine Hat to Cutbank, Montana and we missed Idaho altogether. We'll make it there one of these days.
That's what I'm talking about.
Everyone on here must be lying or they are 85 years old and never had a ticket in there life and their bike isn't financed....and they're sleeping w/ the insurance agent. LOL
Man that is very similar to my policy except my Spyder is financed and I assume I'm younger than you. Big difference though?
How long have you had motorcycle insurance? This is my first year and may be part of it. But mine is about $850/year which is quite a difference.
Ive been told also that since I'm in a military area/town that motorcycle insurance is much higher. :dontknow:
I'm definitely doing something different when my policy is close to renew time.
Bill,
You've got less than six Months on that Motorcycle endorsement; the ink isn't even dry on it yet...
Virginia Beach could very well be affecting your rates also... Although I'd be reluctant to blame the military for it!![]()

It takes a clean driving record, and a loss-free insurance record for years, in order to start getting the best rates...
Patience... Grasshopper!
Well; there's actually an honest to goodness SERIOUS discussion about insurance costs and coverages...
And you want to pee in the pool with RADAR DETECTORS??? :gaah:
Nope... :shocked:I think my clean auto insurance record for 30 years should count for something :banghead:
