• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Installing 12v adapter in frunk

This is the video I promised sorry it took so long. Hope this explains it if it doesn't let me know.

You didn't mention an inline fuse, which might be a good idea. Also you can ground the neg. wire anywhere so I have all mine to the nearest screw into the frame.

That's what I did, the fuse option is a good one as there Is an open slot or two in the box, I just went with this method because that fuse option wasn't presented to me until later

What do you want to power? phone? GPS? I have a 2012 RS SE5 and my Friend has a 2013 ST. We just opened the dash and spliced into an existing wire (I think a headlight wire) and put in a phone charging unit and fed it up through the steering column and put a ram mount on the handle bars. So we can mount it and charge it at the same time. It was pretty easy to do and more functional then a 12v adaptor in the frunk. One draw back is its hard to see the phone screen in bright sunlight. But it is great for charging and bluetooth music and its a very clean look.
