• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Installation cost for Baja Ron Sawy Bar

I was inspecting the links the other day and noticed the ball joints on them had a lot of rust and were frozen in place. I squirted some WD40 and they broke loose. I need to apply some grease regularly and keep an eye on them.

If you've ever spoken to a spyder owner who's experienced an OEM link failure, or have seen the photos of the results of a failure, you'd without question be thankful for Ron's replacement links. From a safety stand point, the links could be of equal importance or greater, than the bar it's self. Thanks Ron.....

I wouldn’t give him more than 1 hour and that’s a little fat. I did it first time in 45 minutes as others have said.

Thank you for posting that. I just focused on replacing the plastic links, improving the ride w better swaybar, didn’t even think about need to grease etc. Thanks for bringing that to my attention, guess I should check them every 6 months or so.

Just to clarify, when I get a new bar, I will have to grease the ball joints. Is that correct?
