• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

In need of special passenger floorboards for 2020 F3

I am getting ready to take the dip and order a ultimate seat so the wife can go riding with me once the warm weather comes back.

But she is 4'10" tall and will probably have an issue reaching "normal" passenger floor boards.

Are there any out there made for shorter people?

Thanks that exactly what I need, looks like I will need to order some BRP passenger floorboards to mount them on.

One thing to watch out for when ordering the oem can-am passenger floorboards that are supposed to be used with Pierre's risers. I went to install these today and the brass insert for the can-am oem floorboards is only about half of the diameter of the insert used for the trim for the stock solo seat.

I called the dealer that sent me the floorboards and he stated that can-am sometimes ships the wrong hardware that goes to their parts, he is calling can-am to see if they can get a hold of the correct brass inserts.

I had him check the sku number that I used thinking that I may have ordered the wrong floorboards and he confirmed I used the correct number from the BRP "parts finder" it's just that Can-am has the wrong hardware in the box.

The missing bushings for the floorboards came in and was able to get things assembled with the exception of the rubber floorboard pieces, Pierre states that you need to use the old screws.

The ones that come with the OEM floorboards when you order them online comes with screws that are too short and do not fit through the plastic footplate. This was remedied with a trip to Lowes to pick up a couple #12 screws that were long enough.

For those inseam-challenged legs, think '70s and platform shoes. Plus when she get's off the Spyder she be tall enough to look you in the eye ;)

Seriously, good luck with getting the fit she needs to make the ride pleasant: that certainly allows for more miles and smiles!

LOL, those heels would have to be over a foot tall. We are almost Eye to Eye when I am on both knees.

I never have to worry about her or anybody else under 5 feet stealing the Spyder. It is setup in the number 5 position.

Her foot comes no where near the brake when sitting in the drivers seat.
