• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Important things Taught To Us By Our Motorcycles

Twelve things that only a motorcycle can teach...
1. The good view of a thunderstorm is in your rear view mirror.
2. Four wheels might move the body...but two wheels move the soul.
3. I'd rather be riding my motorcycle and thinking about God than sitting in Church and thinking about my motorcycle.
4. Life may begin at 30...but it doesn't get interesting until about 95..mph.
5. Midnight bugs taste just as bad as noontime bugs.
6. Sometimes it takes a whole tank of gas before you can think straight.
7. A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.
8. Young riders pick a destination and go... old riders pick a direction and go.
9. When you are riding lead, don't spit.
10. Catching a yellow jacket in your shirt at 75 mph can double your vocabulary.
11. I've never seen a motorcycle parked outside a psychiatrist's office.
And Finally:
12. Only Bikers know why dogs stick their heads out car windows.

Some minor additions:

A motorcycle will wait patiently in the parking lot while you look at tools in Home Depot.

A motorcycle won't care if you ride another motorcycle.

You can ride your motorcycle any time of the month.

If your motorcycle makes too much noise, you can buy a new muffler.

This I don't believe is true. It may have been before your time; but, I remember two members that had a melt down on here. One of them had Lamont pulling his hair out, and was relieved of his membership. That member had most feeling sorry for him, until after his meltdown, and subsequent removal of all his posts. He for sure was seeing a psychiatrist, as he told us a number of times. The other member, I actually believe, had PTSD, if you believe in that. He did mention he was on prescription drugs for it. I actually think he had a brain aneurysm which burst. That's about all I can say on that one.

Maybe they both just needed to ride a little bit more... ;)
I know which ones you are talking about; one of them even has his name banned in here...
Try typing it out...

I guess you don't believe that PTSD is a true mental issue ?

Don't remember that person, wish I did. :sour:

I have ridden both of my previous spYders to the psychiatrist's office. I have PTSD caused by Nam. To many buddies of mine have it. It is real.

An edit is required . . . change #2 to read: "2. Four wheels might move the body...but two or three wheels move the soul."
