• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here in Maine all bikes need registration and inspection in March. I got it done and with the mild weather thought riding would begin. Oh no. Cold, snow, rain and ice. This sight is the only thing keeping me happy. Thanks folks for being out hear. for a change in the weather pattern.

Spring has Sprung

Fall has Fell

Winter is Here

How about the water?

I am so sorry you asked!

My water is great, I don't live in Flint, and I have well water.

Now hang on! For years and years Detroit, Flint, Pontiac, and all of the larger on the east side of Michigan were the pride of the state. The auto manufacturing plants were booming, millions of people had great jobs, and the money flowed into those cities in amazing sums. Those cities then spent money like drunken sailors on every social program, park, museum, library, theater, arena, and every other way they could think of. Those cities were blessed with tax revenue that were huge!
During that time those same lead pipes were in the ground, and not one of those city planners, managers, or mayors thought anything about them. They didn't try to dig them up and replace them, they had no short term or long term plan to deal with them.
Move forward to Michigan a few short years ago, that was about ready bankrupt as a state. Those same big cities that once rolled in the cash were trying to keep up with the same lifestyle they once had, and it was forcing them into bankruptcy. We as a state voted in a Governor that has done an amazing job bringing the Michigan economy back by making some hard decisions. One of those decisions was putting a temporary manager in for Flint to handle their previously mishandled financial a fares.
The temporary manager and his team made some great decisions to keep Flint afloat, and a BAD decision on the water. It is easy to see it was a bad decision in hind site, but I am sure it was not easy to see when it was done.
Now it has become a national story attracting such scum as Micheal Moore and many others who are trying to get the Governor prosecuted for criminal actions, and even liken him to ISIS. A lot of these people screaming the loudest are the very people who squandered all of the money when it was flowing in, and NEVER thought of those same lead pipes that have been there throughout their administrations. They are the ones who should be prosecuted!! Every one of those city managers, planners, mayors, and heads of the water department that never took the time or energy to fix Flints lead pipe problem when the money was there! Every one of them is at fault, not the people who tried to keep the city afloat with little to no funds and made a bad decision!

Sorry for the rant, but you had to ask!

Hey Mr. Bob Denman, I saw a post on Facebook the other day, "Mother Nature is bipolar and off her meds." I conquer. I may brave the windy 50 degrees this afternoon. It won't be bad on the RT for me. My wife would freeze>
