• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My 2011 RTS SM5 I am saying good by to on Saturday. She will be missed. She has 96,000 miles. She was a good running Spyder and it still is. I decided I did not want to spend $2,000 on a DPS repair. My dealer had just taken in a 2021 RT, LTD in asphalt gray with chrome on a trade. Shopped around all of my local dealers and a new LTD was hard to come by. I had planned on buying a new Spyder next year but this 2021 was in great shape, fresh oil change, new rear tire. ECU flashed for the not starting issue and the new correct front sprocket. I comes with the heated comfort seat and passenger arm rests. I paid $22,000 for it. Dealer also threw in the rear panel if you take off rear luggage box. They gave me $6,500 for my Spyder. It was adjusted to $5,000 because of replacing the DPS and labor. Will be picking up New Spyder this Saturday. New Spyder to me has 15,454 miles and 3 years left on the Extended Best warranty. I think I did ok. Hopefully I will get over 100,000 miles on this one. I also have already downloaded the new Spyder Manual. Wish me luck. Bruce

:gaah: Know that’s hard same100k goal but @72k & just had drop $2k -warped heads. After water pump impeller fail out of warranty & all. Understand safety concerns with dps. Would really want find something creative to get those last miles. -up on ramps maybe :dontknow::popcorn::roflblack:

Sad. I put 125k miles on my '06 GL1800 without trying. No major maintenance (except replacing parts after I rolled it down the interstate). Sold it and fully expect the young couple that bought her to put another 125k on with no issues.

Was able to pick up new to me Spyder on Friday night. Wife and I took a ride to get some seafood. Had a great first ride. Today, Saturday we took a ride to the coast. Arrived in Stonington in fog and drizzle. Ride home was in light to moderate rain. Spyder did well. Getting used to paddle shifter. Bruce
