• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Ok, I'll thoroughly research this in detail tonight and have an answer for you by early tomorrow. In the meantime repack the iPhone 4 because it's not going to be the winner (although by your criteria the 4s has a fighting chance)!

Thanks pro, I have been researching almost all day.
I'm torn
between the 4s and the driod razor M. I think ????

One nice feature about the 4S is that it does many things the model 5 will do. My wife was upset when I bought her a 4S last Christmas, then I showed her how to use Siri. Just about everything can be voice controlled. The latest operating system update allows me to take panoramic pictures. That is really cool. The 4S camera is a significant upgrade. My wife caught onto the smart phone thing and then stole my ipad 2. Gave me an excuse to get the latest ipad for Christmas.
I have been told the Galaxy SIII is awesome and some say better than iphone. I will say in all belief you will not be happy with the camera on the Iphone 4. Bottom line is that the smart phones are a significant expense, however these replace other items. Unless you have a digital camera with huge resolution, you will never use it anymore. The phone does nearly all.

Get anything that does what you feel is important reasonably well. It will be obsolete in 90 days anyway, so trying for the latest and greatest is never successful for long. JMHO

Well this discussion about what phone I should get is now moot........ I contacted verizon and the told me that I have 14 days to return the Iphone 4 that have coming tomorrow, but it will cost me 35 per phone for a restocking fee ($70.00 total). It might not be worth it to me now to exchange them now. Hindsight is always 20/20 !!!!! :(

I have the iphone 4S and I just love it. It is easy to operate and the battery will last me 2 days and I use it a lot. We never use our digital camera anymore, we always use the phone. Also all the apps are great and a ton are free. I got the Sena half helmet headsets for Christmas and when I paired it to my iphone I can tell siri to play a particular artist or playlist or even song. I made a phone call to my wife today going 70 down the highway by just saying "call my wife, mobile". I have friends with droid phones and they are always asking me how they can do the things I do on their phones. I tell them I don't know, you bought it. (they think because I know computers I know every phone) You can't go wrong with an iphone 4S and above. JMHO.

Never let phone companies push you around. They need and value your business. Tell them you made an honest mistake and are unhappy with your initial choice of phone. Ask them if they want an unhappy customer by forcing you to keep two severely outdated phones that you don't want for the next two years. If they refuse to waive the fee tell them if they wish to charge you for returning a phone which you have never used or even touched then you don't want to do business with them and will go to one of their competitors, even if it cost you $70 to do so. Talk to the manager if necessary. They won't loose a new two year contract over $70, your continuing business is worth far more to them.

I left Verizon for Consumer Cellular because it was far less expensive and the service and plans were better. When I told Verizon I would not be renewing my contract they would not leave me alone. They offered me steep discounts on both new phones and service that I've never seen advertised. It was the same story with Sprint, Comcast, and DirectTV. If you're a customer in good standing once you tell them you're leaving they offer you the best deals and bend over backwards to keep you. You just have to talk to the right person. If you have no luck at the store call Verizon Wireless Customer Service (800) 922-0204. Ask to speak to the Customer Retention rep. They have full authority to waive any fee and do what it takes to keep you as a happy customer.

Let me know what happens. I'm still more than happy to do the research on the best phone for you if you decide to return your iPhone 4.

Welcome to Verizon the 800 lbs gorilla in the room they are the most arrigont rude people to deal with ever they would have to be the only one ever and I would use a can and a string before I would give them a dime , what the other carriers cannot openly tell you is that they have partner agreements so they use Verizon and at& t towers when you are out of range of there towers so you have great coverage anyway good luck and run fast away from Verizon

Agree go for the 4s

I think you have 30 days to take it back, would definitely send it back and get the 4s. The camera is the best part about the 4s and it's way faster.
. I had the 4s. A friend gave me the 5 for Christmas. Good thing they don't "do" SL. Not enuf difference to warrant the cost in my opinion. Chk with your carrier. Verizon offers free 4s with 2 yr contract...you will love the iPhone. When I travel phone and iPad meets all my needs. Takes little room on Ms Spyder and nice not to pack laptop.
