• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Howdy Do Neighbors..

WELCOME TO THE WEB

The SPYDER WEB that is, Life long 2 wheel rider here as well, you know it's a real bummer... you start out a very young
person riding your trike down the sidewalk cant wait till you can ride a two wheeler, then you get your two wheeler and it has
2 more wheels on the back so still not on two wheels till dad takes them off...... ahhhh freedom two wheels YES....
then time goes on and damn you are back on a trike again.... BUT this one has a motor on it.. WOW big fun and still riding...:yes::yes:

New RT SM6 owner and new to Spyder all together..Just figured I' d wave a hand and introduce myself...from South Mississippi and new to the 3 wheeled world and so far I am enjoying it more than I thought I would....

Been on 2 wheels for years and had to make a difficult choice of leaving my wife at home or going to 3 wheels..Back is worn out and holding up a bike was getting to be too much 2-up...Wife still wanted to travel with me so I researched 3 wheels and after a year + of waiting for the new 3 cyl 6 speed RT to go on sale.........it did.....$5000+ off....so here I am...............I must say, I am not disappointed..

Picked it up a week ago and after a laser alignment taken care of under warranty I am very happy and so is She...Not as good on gas as we are used to but the comfort and ease of riding along with the added storage and better trailer towing capabilities far outweigh the negative..Only time will tell on reliability but we are set for the long haul and will find out..

This will be our final toy, good or bad, and I still have about 25 states to fill in on my ride map to have the mainland 49 covered and plan to do it on this scoot....

I will be rigging my Garmin 50 to a $70 ball mount and doing my own wiring, adding a cup holder, putting the $230 hitch on it and doing my own 5 to 4 wire conversion trailer light harness..along with adding the highway peg kit and I believe those are all the mods I need and got em all figured out already..... but..... that won' t mean I won't have a question or 2 along the way, most of them already answered on other threads.............

So.................. Howdy all!!.....I will likely be more of a lurker looking for ideas round here but just wanted to be a good neighbor and wave a hand......This looks like a great forum for Spyder riders from what I have already seen...... DC1....

Thanks for the Welcome Aboard!

Yea......I gotta figure out the picture thing on this forum on my business computer.....I am no good at posting pics from my smart phone and that is where I post from the most, need to get a profile pic in at least.......Thanks for the welcome aboard and ride invites....I Have been making tracks the past couple of weekends..at 982 miles already in 8 days since I bought it.. I really like it on the open highway..a fine road traveler it is.....I am getting somewhat used to turning it but have a ways to go to be proficient...so much different than 2 wheels but I will get the knack of it.......Thanks again for the open-arms welcome y'all and look forward to meeting some folks in the future... DC1...
