How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

I ordered a Sea to Sky on Nov 7 21. It finally came in early May. Problem is it is still in a crate in a warehouse because it came without a windshield motor and reverse module. BRP told the dealer parts would follow in 4 to 6 weeks. Nothing yet. Then just last week BRP sent me an email that it will be missing the Pilot Backrest. They have discontinued the back rest permanently. Bummer. Very hard to remain patient at this point. The wife and I sold our motorcycles early this spring in anticipation of a March delivery. Now we walk.

Sorry, but it means that you can enjoy your Spyder when it gets finished. GOOD THINGS ARE GOING TO BE coming very soon.

My dealer called last week and said they had an F3L ordered for a customer since Fall, and it just arrived (with all the parts yay) and the customer couldn't get financed .... So, out with the '21 RT and in with the '22 F3L. Currently I have ridden it home (28 miles of bliss) and it is torn apart in the garage awaiting a large shipment from Lamonsters Garage of 7 or 8 items; a Madstad windshield; and Bakers mirror and leg Wings, all due to arrive UPS tomorrow.

Let the modifications begin! As you can tell by my signature, this will be the first F3 I have owned in 11 Spyders (yes, I have a problem lol). I bought it without a test ride but based on how I "fit". 5 miles in I was kicking myself for not switching earlier... Can't wait to pile on miles. So far, I am not a huge fan of the dark matte finish.... the gas tank cowl is gloss black, the trunk lid is gloss black, I may wrap the hood gloss for some contrast

That is a beautiful bike. What makes you like it more than the RTs you owned before?

Thanks - The seating position . With the RT you sit up “on” the Spyder; with the F3 you are much lower in the machine, lowers the center of gravity, handles like it's on rails, and I am 6’2” 265 pounds and I personally fit soooo much better. Hips are more relaxed etc.

Blue, I love you positive attitude but I'm still waiting for my Spyder F3L that i ordered in October '21. When I check in with my dealer, he says he has no idea when it will arrive. It's hard to be upbeat when there's little to no info. Every beautiful day that goes by is one less day to ride this season.

I have one which I picked up in May this year .
Ordered it last September 2021. Came complete but missing was the rear passenger arm rests which were ordered at same time.

:chat: ... I had a little talk with dealer (local guy). He is still saying that all his 2022 Spyder's are Sold before they are uncrated. Most are sold because He only "pre-sells Spyder's & does not order any show room Spyder's."

Maybe get some 'show room' for next year 2023.

Enjoy your Day. .....

Everything in its own Time. .......

:coffee: ...The Dealers have been dealing with customers and Spyder issues. Please be patient and make the best of your Time. The World is full of things that we can be very proud and thankful. I am still waiting for some Auto parts and now I am being told 'maybe April'.

I know all about the waiting game. It is bad for everyone.
Stay Healthy. .....

I picked up my Carbon Black RT Limited Dark last week and loving it so far. I put on most of the aftermarket mods I wanted as part of the purchase, although my wife and I are looking at getting a trailer from the USA Trailer Store soon for some longer trips! So far, it has been amazing and I’ve gotten a lot of nice compliments. I still have a few more mods, but for the most part it’s good to go. All in all, it took a few weeks to get the reverse actuator and about a month to a month and a half from start to finish, although the dealer already had the crate in stock minus the one part.

My spyder is in shop, all financed, papers signed but still can't release it because of missing parts... Something to do with the windshield and a reverse module. It's going on the second month and I'm making payments on a machine I have not even ridden yet. It's a 2022 F3 limited touring. I'm thinking they may get the parts after its all paid for in 2026. Then I may get my first ride on it!

That is just not right, no way would I make payments when I've not even taken delivery of the machine. That's just me, if you're ok with it, that's good.

You should have it soon though.

No, I'm not ok with it. I was under the impression that I'd have it that week, so I signed papers. Oh, and I'm paying insurance on it too! I'm stuck now. Some days I get really pissed when my buddies are off riding, and I can only watch...

Stopped in at dealer 2 weeks ago and said I would take the 22 RTL that was still crated. It was missing shield mount and top case. Also ordered backrest. Dealer told me today I can have it next week, case and backrest not here yet, but windshield part is. Works for me.

:coffee: ...Yes, the 2023 Spyders will be coming in January, February, and maybe March.

If this Covid-19 issue will pass.

 .... That America has a great day coming up very soon.

Stay Healthy. ....

Looks like parts are finally arriving for a lot of us. The RTL we're purchasing for my wife arrived to the dealer April 26...3 month wait for parts. I was just notified by the dealer that the parts arrived today and we may be able to pick this up tomorrow. w00t! My wife is thrilled.

:chat: ... I am always ready to hear some 'Good News' about Spyders. Please keep us posted.

My wife on her 2022 Spyder RT Limited. We purchased from Brothers Motorsports in Bremerton. Sales guy is Seth...pretty cool guy who geared me in the right direction on what to order so we'd get fastest fulfillment (they still had 1 on site which was not yet sold). It arrived in April minus parts, we picked it up last weekend.

Well, I picked up my 22 RT Touring today... Took a little over 3 months from ordering to it being ready to pick up. It was missing the passenger hand rest, but they say it will be in by October...
Thanks.
