• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How did this pipe ever make any power???

One of the first things I did when I got my Spyder was change the pipe on it. I bought a stock Yamaha Warrior pipe and welded a 3" 90 on it. It came out pretty cool and felt like it pulled a little harder.

The other day I cut my stock pipe apart and I just now cut the stock 90 out of it and I can't believe what I'm seeing here. Have you ever seen anything like this? Talk about restricted. ::)

Can you say "Catalytic Converter"?

Actually, they aren't' as restrictive as they may appear but they don't do you any favors in the HP area either.

This will glow red (like the cigarette lighter in your car when it pops out) and gets extremely hot. The tree huggers love them!

WOW !!! ... like you said , how did it make any power?!!! I have ordered a dual LeoVince system for mine !!!

You better get over here pretty quick or else your pipe is going to be done and you won't even get to see it being put together. ;D

Goes a long way to explaining those mysterious burn marks on many of the early production Spyders, doesn't it?

You do nice work !!

Thanks. :doorag: Looks like total cost on this will be $75.00 and his pipe is hogged out a bit so it's much louder than mine. I think I like mine better but I'm not sure yet. ::) :dontknow: :doorag:

I like the SS finish on your pipe better too.

Do you still have the pic?

The picture won't currently display. Any possibility to get access to it?

Thanks,

NoNoNo... It happens to me all of the time!
What made me look at the dates, was that Lamont's bikes now don't have the converters in the mufflers.

Hey, Bob. It was a legimate question. I can read - I know it's an old post. That's why I asked if the images were still available. Some of us still ride the old hardware and would like to get info. Find someone elses post to gripe about.

 :hun:
I was simply explaining that due to the age of the post, the pictures may have been deleted from the user's album...
No griping... have another cup of coffee and smile! :D
