• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How can you open the Ryker's frunk if your battery is dead?

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere yet.

The obvious way would be to get a jump from a good Samaritan, but if you're out in the middle of nowhere with no one else around, then what?

I ask because I have a nice tire inflator with jump start capability that fits in the frunk with other tools (wheel nut socket, bottle of Slime, tire repair kit, etc.) but it's jump start function is basically useless if I can't get the frunk open to use it.

???

Guy, if you look behind the latch you’ll see the wiring for the lock, just unplug to disable it. I did that early on for the exact reason you mentioned. Now it just takes a firm push to open and close.
