• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

You will LOVE or HATE this - How to open your locked Frunk without the key!

Hi guys,
who has been in this or similar situation with F3 or RT:
Turn off the bike, put key to hoodie, put hoodie to frunk, close the frunk lid.... aaaaaand... the moment you hear click... you know you are..... .......

If you are or have been, here is the solution.
You will either love it or hate it.. why,.. you will find it in my last words.

Weird, I just watched this video last night without knowing Martin posted it here. Gotta love the Google Spy-tec... :sour:

I'm curious what damage this does to the cable or mechanism as the cable is in a sheath and pulling the sheath in order to force the cable inside to pull enough to pop the frunk is asking for trouble if you are not careful. Videos like this are what I call "hacks", quick and dirty way of doing things but don't give the background or details to fully inform the viewer of the consequences. Not hating on Martin, I wish he sold through a vendor in the USA, but be careful with doing this!

Martin makes a good point that if someone wants to break open the frunk, they could easily do it with a screwdriver or crowbar. But I loved being under the illusion that my stuff was safe - oh well.

If the choice was being stranded somewhere or potentially having to replace a cable, I know what I would do. Thanks Martin!

Hi there,
good point and I have said it in the last part of the video... BE CAREFUL when doing this.
Yes, it's tricky. But hey, don't forget that most people watching this video will be in trouble, and either need to call a buddy to come bring them a spare key, which can mean hours of waiting for them; or they can "risk" pulling too much! :)
Martin
